A patch of paradise in downtown Bondi.
Roscoe House is the family home of photographer Eugene Tan, his wife Debbie, and their two sons. It's a home that mimics a treehouse, blurring the boundary of inside and out. Full height glass doors completely recess into the walls to open up the back & side walls of the living space onto a tropical garden paradise. In the north facing master bedroom, shutters span the width of the site to allow all day sun into the room. Voids are utilised throughout the home to bring warmth and light to the rear bedrooms, hall, and lounge area.
